The world of smoking was changed forever with the introduction of the E Cigarette. It has been called nice things like “the next generation of smoking”. Manufacturers also claim it can help a person quit smoking, and still smoke.

The E Cigarette uses liquid nicotine cartridges and an electric vaporizer. A small battery inside the body of the E Cigarette heats a coil inside of it that turns the liquid nicotine into nicotine vapor. So smokers get the nicotine they crave, without all the harmful additions that came with smoking tobacco.

There are many obvious advantages to the E Cigarette.

Smoking tobacco can seriously damage the lungs and cause many other major health complications. The E Cigarette has no tobacco in it at all, so it doesn't contain the ingredients found in a traditional smoke that might harm or damage the lungs.

All that comes out of the E Cigarette is vapor that quickly disappears.

Many smokers find that smoking has become so habitual that they cannot function without a cigarette nearby. The E Cigarette can provide these people with a safer alternative than the pack a day habit that many smokers admit to.

As a smoking cessation device, the E Cigarette has many promising possibilities, as long as the person wants to quit, and can get the help they need.

You can use code ECCR . It’s 20% off so it may be more than the current coupon you have. :-)

  2. briansanch says

Thanks for the reply! I found an online coupon and will be getting the Apollo kit next week, after I run out of my Njoy refills :)

We haven’t officially “reviewed” the Njoy Rechargeable product so we can’t say. However, I have a lot of feedback on Njoy and I can tell you that everyone seems to like Apollo much better.

If you’re going Apollo, go with the Superior eGo kit. It’s so much better of a vaping experience than the extreme or standard kits. You gotta refill but it’s easy. Get the bottom coils for the eGo they work awesome.

Mad vapor, mad throat kick (if you get some high nic juice). It’s just works great!

  6. briansanch says

How does this compare to the rechargeable Njoy? Also, I’ve never noticed Apollo anywhere in stores, will I have to rely on ordering online, or do I need to go to smoke shops for a refill cartridge?

  7. ECigConsumerReviews says

Well first off, you gotta know that refilling can be a pain in the butt and more work than just replacing already filled cartomizers. If you’re cool with that, then I would highly recommend the Apollo Superior eGo kit. You can go to our website (the link is below the video in the info section) and watch the video review for the Apollo eGo. We have an editor review for the Apollo eGo and we also have a consumer review page for Apollo where you can read consumer reviews on the eGo as well. :-)

Sir I realize that you mush get ask this question 1000 times a day but I am a newport 100 smoker and smoke somewhere between a pack and a pack and a half a day. I am looking for something that wont break the bank but is also worth buying and will hold up. I was going to go with Blu but I want something that you dont have to buy the cart-a-thingy nonstop. So that means the kind you can refill with the drops. What brands do you think I should look into?

  9. Xi Sean says

Thanks for your reply lol, sometimes I just can’t stop smoking e-cigs at home lol. I bought the apollo ego kit and it was really good, your review was very helpful!

  10. ECigConsumerReviews says

Maybe down the line we’ll hire an e-cigar aficionado, but for now we’re focusing on regular ecigarettes. But yeah, it will probably be in the works. Thanks for asking! :-)

  11. ECigConsumerReviews says

Hi Sean. Wow…. good question! I’ve never really counted how many puffs I take in a day but I’d have to say for “me”…. it’s got to be around 400+ or so. That’s just a guess though. One day I’ll have to actually do a puff count for the whole day.

Maybe I’ll order an ecig with a puff counter on it such as Pure Cigs new Elite VV Battery. LOL… That would make it easier. We actually may review that kit if anyone is interested in it.

  12. Xi Sean says

How many puffs do you think is appropriate everyday for a 18 mg e-cig? Sometimes I worry I smoke too much nicotine from e-cig!

  13. ECigConsumerReviews says

You’re totally welcome! Yep, gonna think about that deserted island post. We’d have to have some “givens” though to make it work…. such as a generator that runs off of coconut juice (c-juice… hahaha) or something… LOL

  14. rpminfinite says

First off, thanks so much for the quick reply! Really appreciate it. That blog post would be a great idea! It would be so helpful to someone who is just being introduced to the world of eCigs and doesn’t wanna buy a bunch of different ones all at once. Although if I were stranded on a desert island, I imagine there wouldn’t be a usb/wall plug. So my clear winner would be the eCig that lasts the longest haha. Anyway thanks again. You were super helpful in all aspects. Now to order the Apollo.

  15. ECigConsumerReviews says

Apollo. No bones about it. I’m vaping the eGo now. Just placed an order for more clearos and some more RY4. Still vaping my Green Smoke and White Cloud Cirrus 3X and Flings, but yeah…. I’m one who likes to play the field. So many good ecigs out there.

Thinking about doing a blog post about “Which eCig Would You Want Stranded on a Desert Island?”…..

Might pose that to the ECCR crew. Would be interesting…..

    What do ya think??

I just started smoking full-time a couple months ago. I couldn’t get over my conscience every time I lit up telling me what I’m doing is the same thing that killed my grandmother back in March. I decided to purchase the Apollo kit to satisfy my need for nicotine and just the overall ritual of smoking tobacco. I appreciate your honest, un-biased, and un-paid for reviews. Vaping seems like a much better alternative for me! Thank you so much!

  17. TimSmokeReview says

The Green Smoke Red Label Tobacco is the best tasting in my opinion. In fact, when I crave a cig, I smoke the Green Smoke. The Apollo tobacco is close, but a little harsher taste in my opinion. Taste is very subjective and everyone’s is different. I like the Apollo kit better, but to be honest, other than the tobacco flavor from Green Smoke, I vape my Vapor Zeus all day long with liquids I have made myself. I just can’t find a liquid that matches Green Smokes Red!

  18. Aaron Berkman says

Hey Tim, really nice review! I got the green smoke essentials kit for free and I really like it and was wondering if you like the Apollo more overall or the greensmoke (disregarding price) I have v2 and hates it… Flavors don’t taste like cigarettes and I get tons of liquid on my lips and I have halo but the liquid has such a strong smell that the cartridges taste like each other which I hate

  19. Orakul101 says

can you please make a video on how to refill your apollo with e-juice please. thanks again for the great video

  20. purchville says

“Really good flavour on the first few puffs”…Indeed! But it doesn’t last. After about 20 puffs you don’t get the same effect and feel like throwing the cart out..I have about 5 carts sitting in a bowl which all have a bit left but which don’t give me satisfaction. I’m keeping them for a rainy day….

  21. purchville says

Thirdly, I sent an email for more cartomisers last Thursday, got a reply Friday morning that they were out of particular cartomisers. I promptly replied requesting different carts, but didn’t get a response on the weekend. This brand is no good for international customers. So I sit here on Sunday night knowing that they have a greyhound’s chance of catching the e-bunny wrt getting my carts to me before I run out. I will be looking elsewhere.

  22. purchville says

Secondly, the flavour is excellent. I agree with that. I haven’t tried any other e-cigs yet but from someone who gave up tobacco smoking a week or so ago I do like their tobacco. The batteries…well. ..I am disappointed. I can recharge a battery fully, attach the cart, take a draw, and it starts blinking at me straight away. That’s for both batteries too. Maybe they sent me 2 duds??

  23. purchville says

I ordered one of these kits about 4 weeks ago. I got it about 2 weeks ago…okay i’m in Australia but that’s still a long time. I like the product but it does have a couple of downfalls IMO. Firstly, the 250-300 puffs claim is not correct. Smoking an e-cig is not like smoking a cigarette. You take a long draw but you don’t need a lot of power in the draw. Best I’ve done so far with these carts before they start to run dry is about 60. So they are way off the mark there..

Have you seen/tried Panda e cigs yet? Not known by most, but it’s owned by Apollo… Anyhoooo, they have this little micromizer clearo thing that works shockingly well!! If you haven’t seen it yet check it out (I believe a/k/a Kanger T4 elsewhere?) Great videos… it’s as if you’ve been making them forever. Really… very well done!!! :) Thank you!
